Conferences are held in Lakeview Hospital's Hulings Education Center (or Hardenbergh, depending on construction schedule). No registration is required. Sessions are free of charge. Lakeview Hospital is accredited by the Minnesota Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Healing Touch - Level 1 Friday and Saturday, June 18 and 19, 2010, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM Lakeview Hospital $300 - Advance registration required, (651) 430-4510 The healing touch certificate program is a multi-level course in energy-based therapy for registered nurses, healthcare professionals, body-oriented therapists, psychotherapists or other individuals who desire an in-depth understanding of healing work that uses energy-based concepts. Level 1 allows individuals with varying backgrounds to develop concepts and skills in energy-based therapy. Participants earn 18 continuing education contact hours. Certification is by Healing Touch International, Inc.; endorsed by The American Holistic Nurses Association. Instructor: Barb Schommer, RN, MS, CHTP, CHTI.
