Project Revitalize
Lakeview Hospital is in the process of revitalization! To continue to serve the St. Croix Valley and our region's current and future healthcare needs, we must rebuild and modernize our facilities. Project Revitalize will enhance our current inpatient facilities, increase our capacity, accomodate essential technologies, and meet new regulatory requirements. These changes will create a physical plant structure that will support and enhance our low-cost, high-quality healthcare.
The proposed plans for Lakeview Hospital are to:
- create all private rooms
- expand our rehabilitation department
- create a designated patient draw area in our laboratory
- create a new, two-bed Sleep Center
- replace air handling units and transformers to meet current codes
- update wall coverings, fixtures and carpet to enhance the physical surroundings
- add additional surgical suite for a total of eight
- relocate and expand the inpatient and outpatient pharmacy
- implement an electronic medical record (EMR)
The benefits of these proposed plans are:
- upgrading inpatient facility aesthetics to assure a patient-centered physical environment
- providing technology infrastructure updates in preparation for an electronic medical record (EMR) system
- designing spaces that will allow for future growth and expansion
- meeting new state-mandated regulations
